HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?

Your initial consultation will take only a few minutes. This is a brief assessment to assure we are a good match for each other. 
After your consultation we will schedule a 60-90 minute evaluation to review your history and symptoms, we will assess your needs and goals.

Follow up appointments will typically last twenty minutes but may be extended based on need.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?

Mental Swellness is contracted with several insurance providers. If you do not have insurance cash pay options are available ranging from $100-$200 per session. 
Mental Swellness can also offer you a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you are out of network.
We understand that many people have financial restrictions and believe that quality care should never be limited based on available funds.

WILL MENTAL SWELLNESS CONTINUE MY CURRENT MEDICATIONS?

Many individuals were able to start or continue medications during Covid through a telehealth platform. Some medications such as benzodiazepines, sleep hypnotics, and stimulant medication now require a face-to-face appointment to continue or initiate treatment. The guidelines on how frequently a face-to-face appointment must occur are changing but the patient should expect to meet in person early on to establish or continue these medications.
